What Is AquaGuard 5000®?

AquaGuard 5000® is a specially formulated, high performance thermosetting epoxy resin that is reinforced with "state of the art" proprietary fillers and modified acrylic for increased physical strength, chemical resistance, and superior bonding properties.

This is a two component system consisting of a Resin and an Activator. It is formulated to be applied to steel, concrete or fiberglass surfaces in a three coat application.

AquaGuard™ demonstrates superior adhesion to cementitious, fiberglass, and steel surfaces. Recommended thickness for roll on application is 20 - 30 mils. Coverage for roll on application is approximately 250 square feet/unit @ 30 mils. Drying time is 4 to 6 hours at 77° F, and cure time is approximately 24 Hours at 77° F.

    How Do I Use AquaGuard 5000®?

    This is a two-component system: First you apply one coat of AquaGuard protective sealer. Wait a minimum of 24 hours for pool refinishing sealer to thoroughly to dry. Complete pool resurfacing by applying 3 coats of AquaGuard 5000 protective coating. Requires 1 coat. One unit covers from 600 - 700 ft, depending upon the porosity of the concrete.
